Description
Etchū fundoshi are easy to tie on and take off. This fundoshi is made from a Japanese chambray cotton that is lightweight and softens with multiple washes. These are more like Western briefs in back, with a loincloth draped in front.
Fundoshi beginners sometimes start with etchū. Why?
- It has more coverage in back than the original rokushaku fundoshi.
- A pre-sewn strap saves you a few seconds as compared to the original rokushaku version.
Only two of these particular fundoshi were cut and sewn. Both have been tested for softness.
Details
Hand cut and sewn 100% premium Japanese chambray cotton.
Approximately 14 inches (38cm) x 40 inches (100cm), with an attached tie. One size fits all, including US extra small, small, medium, large, and extra large (cut shorter depending on where you want the cloth to hang down between your thighs).
These are made in the traditional Japanese style, so the the edges are raw cut.
Care
Treat it right, and this garment will last for a decade. This is washable chambray cotton, so you can machine wash, preferably on cold. Hang to dry.
